Basement Bathroom Remodel

A facelift of a small basement bathroom.

Jim and Audrey were ready to say goodbye to their outdated, drab basement bathroom. Without altering the layout, we gave the space a thoughtful and budget-friendly facelift.

We started by removing old wallpaper and dated tile on the walls and floor. After repairing water-damaged drywall, we skim-coated the walls to a smooth level 5 finish for a clean, modern look. A new acrylic shower pan laid the foundation for the updated shower, which we retiled along with the floor extending into the laundry room.

To complete the transformation, we installed a stylish new vanity, sleek glass shower door, and modern plumbing fixtures. The result is a brighter, more functional bathroom that feels completely refreshed—proof that strategic updates can deliver big impact without a major renovation.
